Our Story
Bi-Inca was created during a period of deep recovery.
After returning home from hospital following a manic bipolar episode, my mind, body and spirit were depleted. In that fragile space, I found comfort in one thing - the light, love and peace of a candle.
Lighting a candle became a ritual. A way to ground, to reconnect inward, and to invite peace back into my days. What began as a moment of solace slowly became creation and creation became Bi-inca.
Each Bi-Inca candle is inspired by one of the seven chakras, honouring the belief that healing is holistic. Just as the body holds energy in different centres, recovery asks us to tend to each part of ourselves - from feeling safe and rooted, to opening the heart, finding our voice, and reconnecting with intuition and spirit.
Every candle carries its own intention, aligned with a chakra and the energy it represents. Together, the seven form a complete circle - a reminder that healing is not about fixing one part of ourselves, but gently supporting the whole.
Bi-Inca made it possible for me to work from home while prioritising my recovery, and every candle is created with that same intention: to offer light, balance and presence when it’s needed most.
Made with intention. Lit with purpose. Guided by light.

At Bi-Inca, impact goes beyond the candle.
A candle for you, support for another.
1% of every sale is donated to Mind via Work for Good, helping fund vital mental health support services.
As Bi-Inca grows, so does its purpose. The long-term vision is to create opportunities for others living with bipolar disorder to work in a supportive, flexible environment where mental health is not an afterthought, but a priority. A space where creativity, understanding and wellbeing come first.
Because healing is not meant to be done alone - and light is brightest when it’s shared.
